This Casa Padrino wall lamp takes up the old wall torch. The chrome stem is ribbed horizontally along its full length like a twisted rope and tapers downwards into a long point that reaches freely into the room.

The wall plate sits at mid height, not at the end. The stem therefore projects on both sides and the lamp looks as if it had been driven into the wall. That is the difference from the usual sconce, which sits on its base.

At the top the stem carries a black fabric shade, included in the delivery. It directs the light downwards along the ribbed metal, which breaks the reflections into narrow rings.

At 85 cm high it is a large lamp for large walls: dining room, stairwell, reception, ideally in pairs or in a row. With a 13 cm projection it nevertheless stays flat enough for a hallway.
